Walsworth Yearbooks’ team of wonderful designers created this magnificent design, and we assisted the team in creating a complete publishing and content strategy to increase search visibility and to help Walsworth become the leading resource for yearbook related topics and research.
We worked on porting this design to a completely custom WordPress solution, so that Walsworth would have the ability to both publish their bi-yearly print magazine Idea File, and create new educational content regularly for their customers and non-customers.
After the custom WordPress build was completed, we managed the data migration from Walsworth Yearbooks’ previous content management system.
We created and implemented an analytics strategy track usage of Walsworth’s public website. We also worked closely with Walsworth’s marketing team to implement Hubspot’s Inbound Marketing solution. With Walsworth Yearbooks’ team of designers, we created a Facebook landing page for new fans of Walsworth on Facebook – Walsworth has since pushed their fan base well over the 1,000 mark – a feat only accomplished by less than 23% of all Fan Pages on the social network.
We developed a selection of yearbook galleries utilizing JQuery and dynamic Javascript based animations showcasing some of Walsworth Yearbooks’ best customers creations as well as many of their award winning works. We also assisted Walsworth Yearbooks in their video production (filming and editing) at the National JEA conference, and created a showcase page within their blog using JQuery modal popups to allow readers to view videos inline with the content.
We continue to assist Walsworth Yearbooks online with custom landing pages, contact pages and forms, and event pages.
In all, we assisted Walsworth Yearbooks in increasing their reach online, worked with their team to move into social media, and created a more open approach to publish content directly to the web for a traditionally print publisher.
