Do you recommend products that your customers should buy? Sure. We all do. This is cross-selling – a technique that brings products to your customers’ attention that are complementary to the ones they intended to buy in the first place. Beyond the offer of a similar product, you can generate higher revenues by up-selling other products such as upgrades, maintenance, add-ons, etc. But why are cross-selling and up-selling useful for your company? Here are three reasons:

They generate more profit

They create increased customer loyalty

Improve customer value

Now you can take control of how you display these up sales and cross sales with our newest product – Related Products Widgets. With Related Products Widgets, you are no longer at the mercy of your theme to display cross sales and up sales in a specific location. With two new widgets, you can now display related products anywhere you choose within WooCommerce.

In addition, we are adding widgets to our Cart Upsells extension in an upcoming update, so that you can show recommendations to your customers anywhere you choose in your storefront once they have added a product to their cart.

Now, start selling more products!

As we head into our weekend, we wanted to share some exciting news coming out of our HQ. Today we are excited announce that our Followup Email family will be growing to a family of three in the coming week. In addition to our wildly popular extension ecommerce email marketing extension for WooCommerce, we will be releasing sibling versions for both Jigoshop and WP E-Commerce. This is an exciting time as we move outside the WooCommerce realm and begin our quest to make followup emails easy for any user of WordPress ecommerce solutions.

You can expect both these new versions next week in addition to the long awaited version 2.0 for WooCommerce. Also, we are excited to announce two much requested features will be released as add-ons users wanted to add more power and data to their follow-up email campaigns — coupon automation and detailed reporting.

Stay tuned!
